I wanted to let you guys know how I've been treated as an Aeria Games Cutomer and Player. I'm here today to show you why being successful in Eden Eternal without buying AP means you will will most likely get banned just for being a player. You will be labeled as a gold seller/Duper and have to fight 5 bans like I have.
After helping test Closed beta I got my CB hat. Here is a Picture of the end of closed beta with [GM]Maru and [GM]BunBun. Look at that awesome mount [GM]Maru is on! and yes [GM]Bunbun is a dancing robot.
Having played closed beta I was one of the first players to reach 50. The game was released on Wednesday June 15th, and by Monday June 20th I was 50. I knew right when I hit 50, making gold was going to be a better option with my playtime then grinding the rest of my classes. I knew the economy was going to inflate, and when it did I wanted to have as many cash shop items as I could get. These were going to inflate and I knew if I collected enough I would be able to fully deck out my character at level 60 So I immediately went to work playing the Auction House and selling wares in World Chat. I started with 1,000G I had earned from leveling and started playing the Auction house from June 21st-July 3rd. 5 days later On June 26th, I was able to snag my first Razorback mount for 2500G! The going rate was 2,000G but I didn't care I wanted mine asap! I saw a few people getting them for 600-800G while I was leveling and probably could of got one, but it would of meant all my gold at that time which would of been bad trying to start out with wares on the auction house. Here is a Picture of the purchase, as you can see I built up a beefy 6K gold in those 5 days, and on July 2nd I was back up 12k Gold! after my mount purchase! (Seller hidden to avoid flames)
On July 3rd I was banned and the exact message was "Unfortunately, we have records of large sums of gold being transferred to your account from an account that was gold scammed. For this reason your account is being held in a ban. If you can provide proof that you are not buying this gold or scammed the account and took the gold we would be willing to reconsider lifting the ban." After a lenthy Email and discussion on how I play the auction house the ban was lifted 3 days later on July 5th.
From July 5th-25th it was smooth sailing I always kept my Gold under 25K, but managed to buy 617 Safety Stones, 111 7-days, 72 CP II's, 8 Memory Tomes, 18 5-slot bags, 2k World Calls, 4 Stalwart Razorbacks, 1 5% MP/HP Male and Female Komono, 3 5% Mysterious Dynasty Jacks, 1 5% Mysterious Dynasty Cheogasm, 2 5% Mysterious Cavalier Succat's, 1 Mysterious Cavalier Dress, 1 Pinwheel Prime, 3 Pinwheel Alpha's, 8 Rugged Razorback, 1 of every nonstated Wing and muc h more.. In total I had about 40% of the cash shop Archived not including what I was wearing. By my calculations I had roughly $2,000 in Cash Shop items not including the PRICELESS statted cash shop Items/mounts I collected. Here is a few pics of my inventory. We all know gold sellers collect cash shop items right?
On July 26th, I was banned for a 2nd time, this time they said my account had been compromised by gold seller... Which wasn't the case because everything was how I left it before the ban.
On July 28th, 2 days later my ban was lifted and 12 hours later I was banned again for a 3rd time. This time they said I was banned for the "IP my account accessed" I have a static IP from my ISP and only played this game only on that connection.
Between July 29th-31st My final playtime I was making on Average 11k/Day and bought 2 pair of 10% CRIT wings! Here is a pic of the first pair I got for 11k Gold! As you can see I was barely able to afford them.(Seller name hidden for protection/flames)
On August 1st, I was hit with a 4th ban, this time it was considered a "Bug" which quicly had the 26 page thread deleted for ovbious reasons.
On August 1st, 9hrs after my Suspension was lifted I was perma banned for a 5th time for "activity that goes against AGE's ToS."
Today is August 3rd, I've been Banned 5 times, and spent 9 of 49 Days of this game unable to play just for being a customer and player of Eden Eternal.
A lot of people have asked me why do this? Why spend 3 weeks playing the auction house? My reasoning and goals were to achieve every cash shop item I could without paying, and make a post on these forums on how you really don't have to spend any money to be successful in a F2P game. I would be the shining example of how it was all possible if you were dedicated enough. Unfortunately in Aeria's case you'll most likely be banned because it's against AGE's Terms of Service to be a successful player in their own game.
My in-game Name is Ting and I am the Guildmaster of the #2 Ranked Guild on Emerald called "Elysium" with around 175 members and this is how I've been treated as a player. Let this be a warning to any player who is thinking about putting time, energy, and money into this game.
@GM who will most likely delete this for a 2nd time and ban the IP. Before you do know this. There isn’t a VPN, Proxy, Mac Address, Hardware ID I can’t go through to get the word out. I strongly suggest you give this to your boss because either way it's landing on his desk. It might as well be from you then Lan Hoang CEO of Aeria Games finding out on a fansite or a MMORPG article. I won't be silenced until my name and account has been cleared. It's up to your company on how far this goes, if you really look at the logs you will see I’ve done nothing wrong but play your game. I’m giving you 48hrs, before I reach out to every media outlet, fansite, forums I can find that won’t moderate but publish my story.
